Luke on Topps
So our lovely, talented, Luke Franklin, shot his debut campaign for the UK and Japanese markets earlier this year with Moxie Pictures. The client was Topps Confectionery. The result is three quirky commercials, that are unmistakably Luke.
Sliderz was all shot for real using an array of lipstick and hidden cameras tucked away in all corners of a leisure centre of West London. Read the full article »

VoodooDog Update
New to the Voodoodog page is the animated title sequence created for “Nanny McPhee the Big Bang”. A really sweet stop motion sequence, created in a little more than 10 weeks.
VoodooDog created the title sequence for the first “Nanny McPhee” which was flatter and had a cut-out animation approach. For the sequel Paul Donnellon (Creative Directive of Voooddog) wanted to make the titles 3-dimensional. And he knew he wanted to do stop motion.
“For about 10 years or more, everything’s been so 3-D,” says Donnellon. “The problem is that nobody is pushing the technology further. Everything’s Read the full article »

Fruice Cup Stacking
We shot this lovely little commercial, Fruice – “Cup Stacker“, for Rothco a few weeks ago. When the storyboard first came in, unlike Luke, I had no idea what Sport Stacking was, I’m fairly positive I’m not the only one in the dark, so I thought I’d fill you in.
Sport Stacking is a growing sport across the world and involves up and down stacking 12 specially-designed competition cups called Speed Stacks against the clock. The sport is huge in the UK, US, China and mainland Europe. It arrived in Ireland just under two years ago.
The boy in the commercial, 11 year old James Carrigan, is on the Irish Sport Stacking team. Shortly before the shoot, the team competed at the World Sport Stacking Chamionships in Denver, coming in a Read the full article »

Give Me Everything!
Imagine a race, climbing a mountain to the top. There’s only one prize; winner take all. Using every piece of relevant equipment you can lay your hands on, you fight your way to the top, making educated, but daring guesses as to which path will take you there. Finally, after exhausting every fiber of muscle in your body and brain, you reach the summit; only to discover that you’ve climbed the wrong mountain. Read the full article »
